Try This Three-Part Readiness Check
Before choosing animals, inspect these three possible deal-breakers:
- □ Boundaries: The planned livestock area has secure boundaries, and every weak point has been identified.
- □ Daily care: Feeding, watering, inspection, and other fixed chores fit the household schedule, including busy days.
- □ Backup care: A named person can take over during travel, illness, or an emergency.
Mark each item Ready or Fix First. A single missing system that could leave animals unsafe means the setup is not ready yet.
